Omar El-Sadany Co-founder


  • An experienced founder and software engineer with a deep passion for AI and developer tools, Omar has spent the last decade building innovative products.

  • Prior to Ficra, Omar founded Sawa, a venture-backed Web3 marketplace and Pistachio, a tool that helps developers assess the quality of AI integrations.

  • As an early engineering hire and Tech Lead at Voicea (acquired by Cisco), he played a pivotal role in developing core AI assistant features, including patented chat-based interactions and voice commands.

  • Before Voicea, Omar was a software engineer at Apple, where he was recruited following the success of his first mobile app company, flagtag.

  • Omar holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BS in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University.

Mo Abid Co-founder


  • A seasoned product leader and designer, Mo has a proven track record of scaling and exiting companies in the mobile app and AI space.

  • Prior to Ficra, Mo was CEO of Salams where he scaled the platform to millions of users globally, driving significant ARR while maintaining profitability and selling it to a publicly traded company.

  • Mo was Director of Product Design at Voicea (acquired by Cisco) where he was responsible for designing the first-ever AI assistant specifically designed for meetings (before AI was cool).

  • As a Product Designer at Facebook, he was a founding member of the first Design Systems Team. He also spent time designing systems at Bloomberg and Tesla.

  • Mo holds a Master's in Human-Computer-Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University and a BA in Economics from Stanford University.
